Well I traded off my Beretta 92 with 3 clips and some ammo for a 27-2 3.5". I think I came out OK. It is not as nice as the one Striking got. But I'm happy to have it.

I bought the Beretta in 2009 for cheap, I think I paid 4 or 450 for it I can't remember for sure.:)

Nice, I have a newer 27 and paid a lot more than $450. Great deal. Rick

That's a nice looking old gun - one you can enjoy shooting without worries. If mechanically sound, you're set to go. If not, with a simple tune-up you'll probably be ready for years of shooting. I'd say you made a good trade. Congratulations on your new-to-you .357. :)

That's a fine looking Model 27. You may want to get a set of stocks which fill your hand a bit better. I put a set of Ahrends on mine, and they're perfect.

Let's not get into that target grip discussion on short barrel revolvers again, last time things got ugly.

Very nice! Good to see some 27-2s without all the target stuff on them(trigger, hammer, stocks). That's the best way. 27s never go out of style. You did excellent.

You made a great trade and you are much better off with the 27 in my opinion. Plus you can shoot the 27 and not have to pick up your brass!

Good looking 3.5 inch gun you have there.

Check current prices on shooter grade 27s with 3-1/2" barrels. You might be surprised at how much of a deal you got.

You can never go wrong when getting a Model 27-2 especially a 3.5 inch barreled one and for that price you stole it.

You stole it. Beretta M9s will always be out there and replaceable. They are fine weapons, but there are tons of them. a 3.5" 27-2 is not easy to find, and you have one. It is very, very collectible, and is the pinnacle of Smith & Wesson's line up.

I am honest, I am jealous.

I am trading a Sig P229 .40 Caliber (Plus $350.00) for a Mint 629 4". I feel good about this trade, and yours was 10x better than mine.

I have a Beretta 92 FS Inox and a bunch of mags...

Anyone up for a trade???

Personally, to me, this means nothing. I've always been into S&Ws, not just since current market prices are up on them. I DO understand, to each his own. Just don't try and make a fortune off one buyer, please.

I took the grips off and could not see any numbering on them. they are stamped with an N. Maybe I should borrow the wifes readers!
