Traded for a 9c...anything I should know?

I got a 9c in trade lastnight and was wondering if anything needs "upgrading" on it. It's an 09 model....

I plan on a Apex kit/Ram, Warren T's sights....

Be aware they come with a lot of options regarding safeties. Make sure you know what you have - thumb safety (y/n), mag disconnect (y/n), gun lock (y/n). It's a nice gun in many ways. Did you get the manual? If not you can get one online that is easier to use than the paper book (better photos).

Yeh, I have the manual and it doesn't have the thumb safety, or mag disconnect...

I thought I remembered reading somewhere about some upgrades that were made on the newer M&P's that I may need to do. Since this will be a off duty/bug weapon I want it to be GTG.

The only upgrade I made was sending mine to Robar for their excellent NP3 finish. These are really nice pistols and you'll be very happy with yours.

Well I got the following enroute to "upgrade" the weapon:

Apex/Ram kit
Striker assy
Upgraded Sear block
Warren Tactical Sights
Spare 17rd mag for backup

Plan on shooting the "hooey" out of it this weekend.

I would add a BlackHawk Double Stack Double mag pouch as well I have three of them one for my 9mm one for my .40/357 and one for my two 45s!
