So me my dad decided today would be a nice day to go to the range. Except my dad thought it was such a nice day. That we should go to the range in the old Camaro. So i pulled her out of the garage and cranked her up for the ride. We've had some nasty weather down here in the south for the past few weeks. So we havent had the chance to get out and do much.

Needless to say when we started on our ride to the range. We ended up never making it to there. It was such a nice day, we just couldnt resist enjoying some time together and cruising some back roads.........Although we didnt get any range time as we planned. Spending time with my dad and seeing that man smile every time the tires would break traction was well worth every single minute of my time with him.

Nice looking Camaro, Sir!
I just love late sixties early 70's muscle cars. I had a 70 Plymouth GTX "Limelight" and a couple years later bought a 70 Roadrunner in Aqua Blue. Both had 440's under the hood.
I miss those days. I was a drummer in a local rock band and had a bunch of friends with different muscle cars (Mustangs, Camaros, AMC's, Buick's and others) and we would swap keys for a Friday or Saturday night of "Cruising" and see what the other muscle cars were all about. They all loved my GTX!
The bass player in the band had a 68 Camaro with a 327!
I liked them all but I was a MOPAR guy to the bone!
I was 18 in 1970, by the way!
Great times back then.

I can see the attraction.....

The ride out to my range is through a large wooded area. I've often imagined myself in a sports car tooling around the highway. Great you had such a good time with your Dad. Maybe next time you'll make it to the range.:)
