The double action on my 627 is awesome. The single action is very nice and light too, but it's so light that sometimes if I don't have enough of a grip on it the trigger will release the hammer slowly and push the trigger forward. If I pull the trigger harder or faster it works as normal and fires fine. Keep in mind this is all dry firing in my basement.

Is this just something I will get a feel for over time since I'm really new to revolvers with light triggers?

Are all PC guns this light on single action? Does my explanation make sense about how the trigger releases in single action?

Can't believe I'm asking this but is there a way to make the single action a little heavier?

A session shooting real ammo will tell you alot more. There is a screw on the front of the grip portion of the frame, it adjusts the torsion bars' trigger tension. In trying to lighten the DA on my "Pro Series" 627 by adjusting the tension screw I now have SA that's too light, will have to tighten the adjuster screw a bit.

That is the strain screw, it needs to be all the way in for reliable ignition
