Trigger Id?

I picked up a trigger in a batch of parts trade.

It looks like the std K frame trigger, but it has a lever to operate the hand. It also has US Patent on the back. The front is grooved and .265 wide.

What is it?

Can it be used in a std k frame?

C/R - I think the patent dates ended prior to 1930.

The back shows the US Patent Office marking. The other view shows the compression spring as part of the lever. More modern triggers have a torsion type spring.

I have had a lot of views but no id. I did receive a PM from another member that he had a similar trigger and could not positively id it also, and was waiting for a reply on my post.
