Hi all. I'm new to the site out of necessity. I've worked on older Smith and Wesson revolvers so when my son-in-law brought his 686-5 over for some trigger work, I thought no problem. Wrong.
My 29 and 48 have three pins in the trigger cluster. The 686 I'm cursing at appears to have none. The result is that the hand spring fell out and I do not know how to install it. I would be happy to get whatever good advice I can from members of this list as to the installation of that piece. Feel free to email me off list at [email protected]. Thanks.
