Just noticed dry firing my SD40VE that my trigger pin rotates as I pull the trigger.

Only does it when trigger is ready to fire ( has tension from firing pin spring).

Anybody else's do this ?

Going to try Loctite on the pin.

Only took the pin out a few times installing Apex kit.

The pin was a BITCH to get out at the time.

Are you talking about the large pin in the frame or the small pin it the trigger itself? If you are talking about the small pin I would only worry with it walking out not rotating. If pins start walking a dab of blue loc-tite will solve problem.

Do not use loctite in the manner suggested.

I think we went through this before.

Why not use blue Loctite on the outside of the pin, both sides ?

I'm concerned about it making the hole in the frame bigger.

I'm going to ask what would you recommend ?

Your right we did go through this once, but still have not been given a reason not to use blue loc-tite. I have used it on pins that walk out with 0 issues.

Do your thing 3.:D

Put some blue Loctite on it last night going to shoot it Sat.

Let ya know if it holds up.

Thanks, J Rich

Well just got back from the range and put 60 down the pipe.

The blue Loctite worked (well so far).

It can't be any harder to take the pin out if I have to later.

I mean I thought I was going to break something the few times I took it out before.

Thanks,3

I think apex says to take the pin out from right to left or the other way around. Which ever it is I couldn't get mine out the way they did so I tried it the other direction and it just about fell out.

So try it the other way see if that works better for you.
