Sorry to ask a question that has been addressed before but could not locate an answer. Wife wants to learn to shoot. Trigger(s) too hard for her to pull smoothly. Can the pull be lightened without creating other reliability issues? Thanks for your advice and suggestions.

I've replaced the hammer spring on most of my auto's with wolf 17# springs. Factory is usually 20#. Some DAO's have used 22#. Never had a failure to fire with the 17's. Just my IIC's

Thanks for your help! Elsewhere on the Forum, I found a authorized Smith & Wesson service center and asked the same question. Not only could the trigger pull be addressed but it's done under the Lifetime Warranty. Depending on serial number; three letters followed by four numbers, and its done! Mine are on their way! LSG Manufacturing

lsgmfg.com for instructions and shipping information.

I have a 3913 that has a long, hard double action trigger pull (probably normal but the DA/SA trigger is new to me. I would like it shortened and lightened if possible. LSGs website indicates that he does warranty work and I'm not sure the improvements I want are really warranty items. Did you call them and discuss what you wanted Deagonwycke?.

Did it all with email. No problem with it being warranty work as long as the serial number is as noted. Sent mine off last Wednesday 10/07 and expect 'em back by next weekend. Will note improvements/changes upon receipt. Pack and ship as required on their website via FedEx with proper account number. Good luck! Dragonwycke

Well, kids, I gotta' tell ya, these little babies are like brand new pistols! No, I haven't had a chance to go shoot 'em- just received this evening about six-ish but they are so smooth! Wow! Range report as available but I can tell you, this is the best thing that ever happened to these marvels of Smith & Wesson! Mr. (Frank) Smith is a true genius! Get yours done without delay! Wow! I gotta' go sit down...

Can you assist me... I have a 3913 and would love to have the double action pull lightened a bit without reducing the pull on the single action - that's fine the way it is. I called S&W performance center and they frankly were not very helpful - the rep said "I can't really tell you if that can be done without sending your gun in to us".

Can you tell me what they did, who you recommend talking to there?

Thanks for any help and advice...
