Hows it going guys I had major issues with my 500 magnum I couldn't pull the hammer back without depressing the trigger at the same time.Smith & Wesson replaced the trigger and everything seems to work fine now the only issue I have is that the new trigger is not straight (it sticks out to the left, its not flush with the trigger guard) is this something I should be concerned about? Ill try to post pictures when i get home from work. Thanks:confused:

Send it back to S&W!

Keep sending it back until they get everything right.

Then get rid of it.

I live in California and this revolver fell off roster. Its a blast to shoot. This is the 2nd time it has gone back for repairs. Ill call S&W on Monday and see what they say about the issues with the new trigger.

Have you tried pulling the sideplate off to see if anything looks amiss? I can't imagine why the trigger would be at an angle & still function okay. Does the trigger operate & feel normal?

Trigger pull is fine. I really don't want to take the side plate off and mess something up.

I understand about not taking it apart.

That is odd looking. You can see the gap between the trigger & frame on the right side.

I'm assuming it wasn't like that before you sent it back for repair last time?

Isn't the motto of today's manufacturers, "As long as it shoots- we don't worry about how it looks".

That's why I love my pre-64 Winchester. And my old S&W and my old Jeep and my old Buck knife and my old ratchet set and my old wife.
