Triple Lock Barrel

I have a refinished Triple Lock that has an "o" stamp or circle stamp on the barrel where it protrudes from the frame near the forcing cone. Does anyone know the meaning?

The "O" stamp indicates a repaired or replacement part. Ed.

Thanks for the help. The serial # on the barrel matches the rest of the gun. I wonder what might have been replaced?

The barrel was probably replaced, and serial-numbered to the frame
at the time of replacement.
