I hope I'm in the right place to ask this question.
I bought a used M&P9c recently. It has TruGlo TG H-3 tritium/ fiber optic sights on it. They are dead. The tritium doesn't glow at all. The sights are fine outside in the sun where the fiber optics can pick up light, but inside they are dark. I can't find any info on whether the tubes can be replaced, and if so, how much are they.
Thankfully, the original owner kept the 3 dot sights that were on the gun. I may just put them back on.
Anyone ever replace tritium tubes in a sight before?

Replacing them yourself is going to be a 100% no-go. Having them re-lamped will likely cost as much as the sights. Those certifications to handle radioactive gasses are not cheap.

I just sent the slide of my 5903 to Trijicon to have the sights re-lamped. Replacement sights would have been around 135.00 and a month or more wait plus cost of having them installed, whereas Trijicon estimated $75.00, quick turnaround (1-2 weeks) and they provide shipping both ways.

Of course mine is an old model and the sights aren't sitting on the shelf any more.
