If it's true, the next step would be to dump the crappy MIMs parts and start making them the way they did in the past. That's when a Smith was a Smith.

You might as well buy all the forged non-IL guns you can now while they are still affordable! Because you won't see those come back. Luckily for me I'm a Model 10 and 64 fan, and I'm glad Smith made plenty of 'em! I also own a 10-14 and 64-7 and they are among my best shooters and I use the 64-7 for CC.
