Recently acquired a 27-2 and the only real mark on the gun is a very tiny spot on the cylinder. Actually it looks worse on the pic than in person. Most people wouldn't even see it but I am a little OCD. I would hate to touch it up and have it look even worse. Your thoughts? Thanks.

Leave it alone. Its very likely that any touch up would stick out much more than the actual spot.

Try to ignore it. Consider it your own identification mark. I would not try to touch it up. You might darken the tiny scratch with some cold blue on a toothpick. But I wouldn't go any farther with it. Nice looking gun by the way.
Definitely accept it as it is. A beautiful revolver in very high condition. I highly doubt you will be happy with the results if there is an attempt to correct this. As I get older, (now 56), I have come to appreciate all the positive aspects of things and concentrate less on the negative. I'm less stressed.
One more for leave it alone.
JMO, but there is no "real" fixing without reducing the value. Leave it as is.

I would always notice that, but I wouldn't do anything with it. Looks like a nice finish otherwise . . .

OMG, how can you sleep at night with that imperfection? You have to sell it as it will drive you nuts. Of course I'm just kidding. That is a beautiful revolver and most of us would be very happy to own it as it is. Put it away for a month and then come back to it and you will not notice the pinprick and appreciate the true beauty of it.
Leave it be. Put a few marks of your own from use on it. Like on a new car, where I'm awaiting the first stone chip or parking lot ding on it, so I can breathe easier...

If it were mine, I'd just leave it as is. Anything you do has the potential to lower its value. But, when all is said and done, it's your gun...do whatever you want.

My 2 cents worth..... leave it alone!!!
YOU would always see the fix. YOU would know.
Turn the cylinder so the mark is under the top strap when not in use. When firing it, that spot will never cross your mind.
I was just about to type those very words, and could not have said it any better.
I guess I am blind.......I see no mark.

Yes, for Heaven's sake, leave it alone! - or sell it to someone who doesn't mind it.
