Not happy with my Alien Gear OWB holster. Bumped the barrel a couple of times when sitting down and dislodged the gun. Decided to give IWB a try. Not only is the barrel out of the way, the gun rides a little higher. The barrel is covered, with the holster having a slight opening. So far, so good as it seems much more comfortable already. Now I just need to fine tune the positioning, and try it long term.

Update: So far, so good, once I found my optimal carry spot on me. I ended up with it at 4 o'clock. The only drawback is, I need an undershirt of some type to keep the grips from chewing on me. This holster protects the slide, but t the grips are exposed.

I love IWB. From LCP to MP45. But never a revolver ..... all my revolvers are OWB. I need to try a J frame IWB.

I don't need a undershirt. I use a N82 orginal with full soft backing that covers the whole gun.

I live in a hot, humid climate in coastal NC so in the summertime I wear a wife beater t-shirt under my regular t-shirt. I suggest you try to find the wife beater in a tall size and possibly a size smaller than your regular Ts.

I carry my S&W 3953, S&W 4053, or Walther PPS40 IWB during the summer months. This works slick for me.

I carry my m36 IWB at 1 o'clock. I usually don't wear an undershirt, my Bianchi has a very nice suede feel to it, and it doesn't rub me. I'm fat in the belly, so my gut hangs over the waist a little. Perfect concealment.

I use Crossbreed, MTR, and recently purchased a VersaCarry. All are worn in the 4 - 5 position. If you don't wear undershirts try a very light sanding on the skin side to help with the flesh chewing aspect. Ratchet style belts might also help instead of the thicker heavier leather belts.

I rarely carry IWB these days, but on the occasions that I do I use a suede (soft, flappy and comfortable) old fashion spring clip suede IWB holster 3-3:30 position on my left side. I am right handed. I'm not concerned about re-holstering fast. If I pull Roscoe, everyone will know anyway. Works best for me as the leather holsters are too bulky and ride the gun too high for my liking.
