Trying to find an importer

Good morning gentlemen,
I have a customer( lives in S. Carolina) ,who's uncle lives in Canada. This uncle wants to gift about a dozen long guns to him...I would like to find an importer in S.C. ,or as close as possible, to make this transfer happen..

The only importer I am aware of is Leroy's Big Valley Guns in Montana. They imported a Model 27 for me years ago-it took around 120 days and cost about $100.00. Your uncle ships the guns to the guy in Canada across the border from Leroy-they get it to Leroy and he gets it to you. Royal PITA and I would never do it again. Check with Leroy's they may know of an importer closer to you. They are on the web. Be aware that the importer will place an import stamp on the gun. in my case they did it inside the crane and it was hardly noticable.

try simpson ltd. galesburg ill. they are long time importers and can walk you through the steps. it takes time and money to do this though.
