I've had this ammo for over a year and finally got around to shooting it. Needless to say, it sucked. The one with no base on it, I had to pry out of the rifle. I couldn't chamber a round and didn't know why. After looking in the rifle, I realized that the shell was still in there but I didn't realize it because the back was blown off.

You might try contacting the manufacturer and try to work out some kind of trade or compensation......

Never seen that brand in .22lr but their 9mm shoots great. A little dirty but good plinking ammo. Looks like tulammo has some kinks to work out. Have you tried that in any other .22 gun to see if the issue persists?

I've never saw 22lr tulammo before this, and from the looks of it I'm glad I haven't.

Have had similar experience with Rem. Golden .22 LR in a 1911 Marvel .22 LR conversion. Never happened with any other brand of ammunition in that pistol. Same ammunition fired in my other .22 LR firearms gave no problems at all. Would suggest that you fire the Tula .22 LR ammo in a different firearm, very likely results will be fine. In fact, firing it in a different 15-22 would likely give different results. Sometimes you just run into a bit of weirdness with various firearm/ammo combinations. Sincerely. brucev.

22 uses very little powder.

I have had rounds that barely cycle my auto's , and some rounds with a serious pop.

I'm thinking QC problem with a low charge then the next a nearly double charge.

Winchester recalled M22 for that reason.

I put about 10 of them through my Ruger MKIII 22/45 and didn't have any issues.

These out of battery detonation problems I was having with the 15-22 were from about 100 rounds or so. It was so bad at one point, I couldn't even get the cleaning rod down the barrel. It cleared up a little when I when stopped shooting the Tulammo and switched to some American Eagle bulk that I had.

I have another 22LR that I'll give it a shot it before I just trash it. It worked fine in the limited shots I took with the Ruger 22/45 so maybe it'll continue to work well.

Had my extractor blown out by some Remington golden bullets and had these type of malfunctions. Fortunately, this didn't happen to you with this ammo.

I would call them. Tweeting a photo doesn't seem to be a proper complaint.

I've never seen that on a shelf, but from my poor experience with the plastic-can 9mm, I would not have bought it.

I shot some more of these rounds out of my Ruger MKIII 22/45 and had more problems. I decided to email TulAmmo with pics this time and they said they would refund my money. They also said the rounds may have been over pressured. Pretty good customer service.

I just realized today that the TulAmmo I was having problems with blew out my extractor. I haven't shot my rifle since I had the problem and didn't bother to clean if after shooting the TulAmmo since it wasn't that many rounds. Whelp, 3 months, later I'm trying to figure out why I have so many failure to extracts. Looked at the bolt and there's the problem. Needless to say I emailed TulAmmo and they already credited me back the money for the ammo and shipping. I just contacted S&W today so I'll have to see how it goes forward from here.

I had that happen twice with different ammo. S&W treated me well both times and turn around was decent.

Just had this happen to me with cheap ATI ammo, blew out the extractor. S&W needed the whole rifle sent back...said it would take 3-4 weeks...I should have known better than to run that ammo but my rifle has eaten everything else without a hiccup I figured a couple $4 boxes wouldn't hurt.
