Before I bought a few boxes I went through the Interwebtubes looking at the various opinions. I came to the conclusion that the folks that actually shoot it have no problems with it under two conditions...
1) weapon is cleaned after each trip to the range [I would have thought that was obvious but then again I see the "Employees must wash hands after using restroom" signs and wonder] and...
2) rapid fire in large mags [30+] CAN cause a heat issue that CAN cause an issue with the coating. It again seems to go back to 1).
So far, not a single issue in either M&P9 or M&P45.
