I am a fan of Australian Rules Football, and Fox 2 have been showing a lot of matches including their equivalent of the post season. Tonight is the Grand Final, the equivalent of the Superbowl.

My local TV schedule via the cable provider has Fox 2 airing some UFC **** at the time the Grand Final is being played. Really? I mean, REALLY?

That explains it. My local cable provider does not carry that channel. Gosh, do you think that Vegas might have a sizeable Aussie community and that taking it off FS2 is a bad plan? I mean, it's not like it is a cosmopolitan city or anything.

I had heard of it, but tonight is the first time I read the Wiki piece on it. Hysterical.

US TV and its schedules have made me laugh since I came here. It's so regimented it's almost Soviet. The few channels that start stuff off the hour or half hour are still treated with suspicion by many folk from what I gather. Too funny.
