Alright who's going to watch "Downton Abbey"?

I record it and we watch it on Wednesday night. One of our favorite shows.

I tried watching that one time and was able to understand only about 25% of the dialogue -couldn't wade through those thick British accents.

I DVRed tonight's episode. The wife is out of town and she'd kill me if I watched it without her.

We love the series. While we don't have cable TV, antenna, or anything, we bought the DVDs.

Downton Abbey is the most interesting, entertaining TV show is has been my privilege to see, ever. The costuming, filming site, actors and actresses are beyond compliment. The gentleman who wrote the screen play is a phenomenal talent, and is worthy of ever award given for TV excellence.
It is, for me, the perfect example of how TV can be a positive influence, rather than the common, worthless variety of programming we get from American network channels.

I watched the first few seasons on Netflix. About the time WWI came around I had enough. All these "continuing" series shows seem to plod along reaching for material after a few seasons. My own life is boring enough.
