5 boxes of Twinkies on eBay for a BIN of $132. I'm gonna check the local grocery store and stock up on Hostess if there are any items left and then use the proceeds to buy a new revolver.:)

Yesterday a lot of 5 boxes sold for $405.00! It's probably too late to find them in the local stores but I'll be looking.

I'm constantly amazed at just how stupid people can be.

You do realize that Twinkie lovers -- and a lot of other people -- say the same thing about gun collectors? And that even among gun collectors, we say the same thing when someone pays "too much" for something? It's all relative, and "stupid", like "beautiful", is in the eye of the beholder. :)

If you are hoarding Twinkies in order to save up for a new handgun, if it's a Shield you really do need that long shelve life of Twinkies to make it!

Mehhh!
Never liked Twinkies , or any other processed high sugar snack cakes.

It's almost un-American to say this, but I have never eaten a Twinkie or a Ding-Dong in my life...

(However, there are a few Hostess cupcakes in my past... :) )

I heard a Mexican company was gonna buy the assets so maybe premature to write Hostess off.
Yeah, mexican Twinkies.....
They are gonna call them Twinkolocos....
Several flavor choices too
Taco-Twinkos
Jalapeno TwinkoMuchoLocos
Queso TwinkoSuavos
And my favorite...
Twinko Habanero Calientes con leche

They are even gonna make a 'flat' Twinkoloco

Sir, I'd bet several outfits are angling to buy the rights to the now defunct Hostess brands. I'd further bet that Twinkies, et. al., will soon be back "under new management."

Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.

I just heard on C-eSPANol......
They will continue the Ding-Dong line...
Ding-Don-Juan's

I heard it was Bimbo, the big Mexican snack company. If so, they will learn that "Bimbo" plays about as well here as "Nova" does in Mexico.

(not to mention that "Bimbo Cupcake" may be redundant.)

It is likely that Bimbo will buy up the brand, they are buying most every other brand so why not that one too.

We have a good sized bakery here in our town, they make Thomas's English Muffins and Arnold bread and maybe other stuff too.

Who would have thunk that the Mexican would be buying up US corps? I think its part of the giant sucking sound someone spoke about years ago...

I don't think it matters who takes over, anyone with business sense can make a go of it. A little automation and not letting the Unions strangle you with stupid work limiting rules is all it would take.
