I have a number of Lobo Gun Leather holsters, three IWB and one OWB, and find myself always carrying a gun that fits in those instead of perhaps a gun that I would have to carry in a hybrid IWB or another maker's OWB.

So I solved that problem by ordering two more Lobo's for the guns I want to carry more frequently!!!

I asked Ray to make me IWB's for my M&P9c and my 4513TSW.

I'll send him a PayPal payment today, and let you know when I receive them. Lately he has been turning holsters around rather quickly...

For my money, I just love the fit, ride and retention of Ray's holsters. He does not stiffen the mouth on the holster model I buy, but that makes the holster that much thinner.

Yes I am Laddy. Ray's IWB in horsehide, with a slide shield.

I have that exact model for a Shield, 3913 and a 45c and they all carry extremely well, ultra comfortable.

All day, every day. I am even more impressed since I found the 5.11 Operator belt, which is stiff and can be adjusted to the exact snugness I want. No slip, slide, shifting or droop.

It's quite a combination and I love it!

Mine came in right after Christmas, I loved it so much I went ahead and ordered the matching ammo carrier.

I now have 7 with my 8th on order. Various models for many different guns. IWB off set, enhanced Avenger and enhanced pancake. Just superb holsters.

I wasn't using my 3" M 64 pancake as I now have both 2" 64 and 10 for carry. Member Artic Cat had a WTB posted for a holster and we did a deal. As soon as he recieved it he liked it so much he ordered another.

Wouldn't buy anything else.
Enhanced pancake

Enhanced pancake

Do you carry a compact/subcompact in the offset IWB? I wonder about offset clip not allowing full grasp with the shorter grip.

I know there's no problem with a full grip but want to get feedback from someone that has actually carried a shorter grip gun in this.

THanks,

Lad,
640-1 with magnas. Don't get any shorter on a revolver. Can't speak for an auto. Wouldn't think a problem. The clip is a non factor.
IWB Offset Horsehide

I just ordered my first holster from LoboGunLeather.com. Decided on the Belt Slide Style OWB with the open bottom so I can change out my carry gun to any of my M&P's with varying barrel lengths. Have read some great reviews about his holters and the craftmanship looks first rate. I especially like the belt tunnel system he uses. Can't wait to receive it. Till then I will continue to use my IWB holster.

Good man that Lobo ...

624 snub with Lobo's unlined Full Flap Field Holster. Tough as an old saddle, and just as comfortable. Can be worn strong side or cross draw. It's my hiking rig.

(For those interested in rubber grips, that's a Hogue Mono and accompanying Hogue lanyard loop.)

Anybody had holster dye stain clothes? Ray warns that it's a possibility in his FAQs.

My main concealed carry gun is a Kahr PM40. My preferred carry holster? A horsehide IWB Lobo. IMHO, his holsters blow away the big names---in spades! :)

I have an order for the IWB offset clip in horsehide from Ray also. Should be few more weeks.

I have had some slight staining of my tighty whities...

To think of it I don't know if the color came out in the wash!
I don't remember seeing it on any grundies since then so maybe it did wash out.

But that said, I wear my holster all day, all summer, and in Wisconsin we start to sweat at anything above 40 degrees.

I always marvel at guys that trumpet buying Kydex holsters from PJ or wherever... I believe if they EVER tried a good leather holster they'd throw that hard Kydex in the garbage.

Full disclosure: I have not bought a $400 piece of leather to carry my gun. I am always looking for advice, and if someone can steer me toward a better holster I'm all ears....

But I will not take advice from someone who doesn't have a Lobo to compare against! So consider this an open invitation; if you have a Lobo IWB and have another IWB that you like better, please let me know! You can PM me or post it openly, I'm here to learn.

IWB Offset Horsehide

Klyde, what a timely photo! I was just looking at placing an order for that exact same holster for my 640-1! I have one of Lobo's horsehide belt loop IWBs for my Shield, your pic just sealed the deal for me!

Coastie,
Glad to have helped. I just got it the other day. Wore it yesterday to the movies. (Lone Survivor) Feels great and I almost forgot I was wearing it. Fits the gun like a glove with great retention but yet a slick draw presentation. Another masterpiece from Ray.

As per Klyde's advice (and other forum member's praise) I've purchased two holsters from Ray. LOVE them. The craftsmanship is impeccable. I think I need to buy more guns just so I can get more holsters!!:D
