I was fortunate to get an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner that will hold smaller pistols and revolvers. What is used in the basin? Some say warm water and some say only a light oil....a good air compressor and a thorough drying with a heat gun. What say ye?

And...a .32 HE, flat spring...are replacements available and is the trigger pull adjustable with the strain screw. If so, how?

It's interesting that at gun shows when these ??? are asked you can get so many answers. I KNOW I can get the right ones here! Thanks in advance.

I was led to believe a specific solution, similar to denatured alcohol. Something that cleaned and rapidly dried. These units are currently being sold by Midway, and I think Brownells, so you should be able to order the solution form them.

You need a degreaser solvent, something similar to perchlorethylene that is used in dry cleaning stores. There are many other degreasers on the market though. Just make sure it's non-flamable.
Also if your ultrasonic has a metal basket replace it with a plastic one 'cause metal to metal will leave wear marks on your gun.:(

25% simple green. DO NOT use any low flash point solvent!
