Geez, I can't believe how many idiots drive cars now a days! Went out to do my shopping etc. today. Wasn't 2/10ths of a mile from the house when I encountered a moron. I'm heading east, doing 19 in a 20 zone. Fool in filthy old Mercedes at a stop sign, heading north. I have my lights on, beautiful sunny day, yep, he just pulls right out in front of me. I hit the brakes and horn, my window was down, so I yelled a couple invectives, which I never do when packing. Was an old guy(older than me), he never even looks, just waves!! So fed up with #@%$& drivers!!! Be careful out there.

I have never observed a flawless driver!
Rolled into a shopping center in a thru lane with stop signs for the cross traffic. Young gal flew through in front of me and I called out "That's a stop sign" and she yelled back "Yeah and I was there first".

My opinion is: A lot of people drive to fast. I used to think everybody's running late. I now believe they're just trying to prove their driving prowess.
Last month a young guy ran into my truck. I was stopped at a traffic light and he backed out of a parking space and broadsided me on the passengers side. He said he didn't see me. Maybe he didn't see me because the business he came out of sells vaping stuff and cigarette papers, and his car windows were all blacked out.

My bad time is coming up. The flatlanders are a coming back to their camps soon. Many of them are ingenious in figuring out more ways to be a PITA or just plain dangerous!
I drive a school bus. Any story you can tell, I can beat.

I take super extra care these days when on the motorcycle. I assume that each and every vehicle encountered is trying to kill me, and plot evasive maneuvers for each situation. Sounds like a lot of work, but the trade-off on the open road is worth it.
Just look in any parking lot and see how many people can’t get the car between two white lines. Actually driving may be asking too much

Were stuck with them year round on weekends. We call 22a that runs alongside Champlain the Jersey Turnpike, I avoid that road at all cost due to their aggressive tailgating. Does anyone from NJ ever stay home on weekends?
The older I get the more middle fingers I see, seems like everybody's in a hurry except me.
A lot of times I think they go out of their way to kill us.
I'm a couple miles from the coast right between St. Augustine and Daytona. Use to love to ride those areas, until smart phones became so popular.
Most of the time I ride west out thru the farm lands, around the St. Johns river, and the Ocala National Forest these days.
I just ry to get home before dark...all those deer and bear crossing signs make me nervous at night.

I sold my road bike. Was almost killed twice by car drivers. So far I've had 3 friends that were killed by cars while riding a bicycle. I don't go on the road anymore without some steel around me.

My wife and I are in our 70s and she is now an unsafe driver, which she refuses to acknowledge. Six months ago she made a left turn in front of a car headed in the opposite direction. He smashed in the whole side of her near new Outback. She had the nerve to tell me he was going too fast, but admitted she never saw him(so how could she know his speed?). They both agreed to leave the cops out of it exchanged info and her car was taken to our favorite collision specialist($10 grand repair bill). She refuses to ask our insurance carrier what the other guys' bill was.
I explained to her after a day or two that she was at fault. She agreed but still hasn't got new glasses. I try to drive her car when we go somewhere.

I just assume that some idiot will pull in front me risking his life to try to save 2 seconds. I am seldom disappointed.
USA Today estimates that there are 210 million licenced drivers in the US. Odds are good that some will get in our way.

Every light change around here you have to count five after it turns green before moving. Otherwise you risk getting hit by one of the three or four drivers who are either too stupid or too blind to notice that their light has changed to red. Idiots abound.
Many years ago waiting at a red light, I took off quickly when it changed to green only to have my back bumper - yes back bumper - clipped by a moron who ran the red light.

This is exactly what we should all do at intersections. Mike Dillon, founder of Dillon Precision, told a story of a friend who loved to rocket forward at intersections until he got killed at one by a light runner. Mike developed the habit of looking all ways before hitting the gas.
