Two Things Seem To Have Stopped...

Well, most if not all have heard the expression "little things please little minds", but I have to wonder about people who get excited about this sort of thing. The irony is that many of them think they're interesting...

Haven't heard to much out of the NFL crowd either?

Oh, too good for fads? Tell me that none of you ever had CB radios, bell bottom pants, mini skirts (Barb), or did the Achy Breaky Heart or Electric Glide???

Well, CB radios, although they never interested me, struck me as kind of useful before cell phones - weren't they popular with long distance truckers or something? Bell bottom pants (we called them flares here) were clothes - which have a purpose, don't know what the last two things are (will google).

The point is, CB & bell bottoms were variations on something with utility; these two modern fads are just, well, trivial and silly...I mean, I just cannot fathom what the attraction is...

Still have my CB radio in debasement. I worked 30 years on the road in sales and it was a tool.

I need to get it out again. Too many truckers blocking lanes on 80 & 81. Not that it will solve anything I just feel the need to explain what morons they are ignoring our State Laws.

Rant-Off.........

I could take a video of myself dumping water on my head and try to start a new craze if you would like...
The Selfie Bucket Challenge - you try dump the largest amount of water on yourself while filming it. Just make sure your phone is insured before trying it.

...or at least making the news/being made a big deal of...

1) Having a bucket of water poured over yourself

2) Photographing yourself with your phone

Good...

Well for me you can't stop something you never started.

And as for zzzipppper no, bell bottoms lasted longer then these, no, no as I don't know what the Achy Breaky Heart is , and if your talking about Electra Glide still have a HD and will still be driving after the knee replacement heck still have my 58 pan chopper also from the 70's. I've never been into fads.
