Two tone model 559?

I'm talking with a fellow about a 559 with a blue frame and nickle slide with blued sights. Is this a put together gun or an authorized variation?

We're discussing trading my P6 with 4 magazines for his 559 with two magazines, box, grips.

Any downside to the 559?

I examined the pistol in person today and did the swap. The seller said that the upper end is from a 659, the trigger has been worked on and an arched rear housing installed. He said that the gun came from an estate sale in NV from a SW auto collector.

The pistol is very appealing in person, holds nicely and is good and heavy which is what I was looking for. I have to wait a minimum of 10 days to pick it up per state law so I am anxiously waiting for the days to tick off so I can get it, give it a once over and see how it does at the range.
