This is not a bash post, I'm just curious peoples experiences with Tyler-T... going on 6 months now and I'm out my 60sum dollars and zero contact despite my countless attempts of contacting...

Advise?

Thanks
Erik

Just wait and be patient. It may take 6 months or a year more, but eventually you will get it.

Your other option before you sent in the order, was to buy the items on ebay, which would have cost you a ton more. Or, you could buy the plastic modern version.

E,

I had the same experience a few years back and your concerns are the exact reasons I choose not to do business with them any longer.

I can understand wait times but the no response to inquiries with the check being cashed as the only indicator that I may get what I paid for eventually is unacceptable.

I have used T grips for close to 30 years on all my revolvers as they just fit me perfect, my alternative product has become BK Grip adapters, not as many color choices but top notch service and an upgraded design.

Although I have not gotten around to trying one out yet I did find that Robertson's Trading Post is making their own stainless version for J frames.

I needed a couple grip adaptors a while back and no way I would deal
with Tyler or pay scalper prices. Tried BK and had great service and also
I was pleased with the design. BKs have 2 sets of clips so the grips
get a better hold on the adaptor.

We have members in Oklahoma, has anyone ever gone there?

Tyler adaptors are made by a business apparently incorporated as Tomahawk Grips LLC. The name does currently appear on the Tyler website with the Newalla PO box address. The name and address of the operator as it was registered with the state of Oklahoma is below, although that is cancelled now. I've found nothing newer. Maybe try sending him a letter.

The place as currently constituted is a scam. It still exists because of all the apologists. There's a name for it: "the sanction of the victims".

Don't be a victim. Go with BK.

I've been waiting a little over 8 months for an aluminum-colored T Grip for a Ruger Speed Six. Ordered 2/12/21, my check cleared my bank in early March

I haven't tried to contact them. In the past my texts went unanswered.

I've been buying T Grips since the late 1970s.

You'll get it eventually, but you'll probably disappointed with it. Nothing like the originals in finish.

Ive thought about going by there but never have. App. 2 hour drive for me but would like to check it out just to see what can be seen if nothing else. Maybe on a trip to OKC metro area I will someday.

Only problem is once you ring the bell, they take 7 months to answer the door.

Ordered mine March, 2021. Sent an text once a month asking status.... no product... no response

I feel your frustration. 13-14 months of no updates, but I eventually received it.
