Uberti S&W American Pearl grips

Hi, I have a new Uberti S&W American in 44 Russian, blued, for which I would like a set of NICE, imitation Other of Pearl grips....like the Grips available on the Taylor's Uberti Schofield.

Everyone makes grips for the Schofield, but not the American.

Any leads would be greatful.

No one makes them as far as I know. Not even sure if there were ever any MOP stocks on original Americans. Ivory was popular. I assume your American is like mine and I love shooting at the range. Puts all those puny plastic pistols to shame! This revolver kind of reminds me of Crocodile Dundee's knife . . .

I have a Number 3 American 2nd. model in .44 RF that sports MOP
grips (serial number: 25980).

Thanks for posting Webb. Wonder if they were put on by a distributor, since I don't think MOP shrinks?

Hi There,

No, I don't think MOP shrinks but people sand and re-finish them. With
that said, the grips are from another revolver (because the serial numbers
on the grips are in the 19K range). It was either a distributor swap or a field
swap long ago.
