Looks good!

My mount and sight came for my 617 :)

Swapped the heavier Weigand mount and larger Ultra Dot to the 686
and the new Allchin mount and Burris sight to the 617.
New combo on the .22 seems pretty nice...

Great choice. I think the Allchin mount and the Burris FF3 are the best combination for the 617 I've seen so far. Can't wait to get to the range.
Good luck with yours.

I finally got to the range yesterday with my new setup. First impressions about the Burris FF3 are that I'm very pleased. I shot one full cylinder without making any adjustments and the results from about 12 yds were as expected...not so good. All shots were placed low and to the left of the bullseye as you can see from the following photo:

After making several adjustments to the FF3, both up and to the right, the next four full cylinders produced the results to the right of the first grouping which is about as well as I can shoot.
The only problem I encountered was not with the red dot but with my aging eyes. I'm a left hand shooter and unfortunately my right eye is the strongest of the two. With my right eye closed the dot became blurry and misshapen. When I switched to having my right eye open the red dot came into sharp focus. It was a bit awkward shooting that way so I'll just have to live with a little blurriness. In either case it was a vast improvement over the fixed black on black sights.
For anyone considering the Burris FF3, you will not be disappointed.
