Under $50 IWB Shield Holster?

Badger State Holsters. This guy is near to me and does excellent work. Sells holsters either locally or on ebay. I just couldn't get used to a large piece of leather on my side. A slim Kydex holster works best for me but to each their own.

Custom Kydex Holster for the M&P Shield

I will second that. I have a Wild Bill Covert Carry that I rarely use, I find it a bit too thick since I usually carry with my normal waist size pants instead of going a size larger. I also have a Remora that I use more often, but I use the PJ Holster almost every day. It is very comfortable, fits the Shield perfectly and is adds virtually nothing to the width of the gun. It was well worth the wait. I got the clip on loop option.

I tried a 4cornersconcealment holster with the clip that is screwed-on (as a number in this thread are). The quality of the holster was fine...I was pleased with it from that perspective. But the screw-on clip adds some width, and the holster itself has to be wider to allow for a small "hood/recess" area where the screws are so the back-side nuts don't scratch the gun. It doesn't sound like much width, but every tenth of an inch counts when it's inside your waistband.

Short of something like a Versacarry, the PJ Holster was the thinnest and slimmest holster out there. It's the closest thing to not having a holster at all. It adds almost nothing to the width of the gun and conceals very well. I found that the 4cornersconcealment holster rode way too high for me. I want the magazine release to be right about even, or very slightly above, the waistband. With a good forward cant, the grip sticks up enough for a full shooting grip.

I bought an in-stock PJ Holster. He has some that are either mistakes (like making a RH custom job for a southpaw) or canceled orders. The one I bought has a 20 degree cant with a 1.5" closed loop. Must have been a custom order that someone canceled. I like the 20 degree cant so well, I'll order the same angle for any future order I place with Paul.

I just ordered On Your 6 for a MP45c and a Shield 9 ($30 each).
Will let you know how they work. I do like to be able to remove the weapon and holster together, quickly. I frequent hospitals (no carry allowed) and so I need to be able to disarm quickly in the car. Have a Crossbreed for the shield, it is very good, but difficult to remove and then re-install while in the car. I like to be able to grab the holstered weapon, quickly stick it IWB and go. Will let you know how the 6's work.

I have the Sof-Tuck for my snubbie and it is very good for the money. I picked up a Gould & Goodrich ambidextrous holster for the Shield while waiting on the PJ Holster. It is minimalistic and conceals very well. I actually like it very much. Before the PJ Holster, I used it almost every day. Gould & Goodrich | B892-2 Ambidextrous Holster

I've been using the DeSantis for about a year with no issues.

Remora 5MPART holster. Mine has a leather lining, but there are other options. Grand total $29.01, 35% off and free mag holder.

I'd second Bishop99s' suggestion. Right now for that price you can't go wrong. Another would be the Sticky holster. Either of these are a good option, as there are no loops or clips to fool with, and they can be positioned anywhere (pick an o'clock position, left or right handed, canted, cross draw, appendix, or in your pocket). These are like a good watch, set it and forget. They just don't move. Due to lack of attached loops and clips and backing ect., they don't add anything to you waist but the size of the gun.

You say you are looking for a gun holster that is under $50 bucks? Then you should check out the leather belt slide holster by Tagua Holsters. You can pick one up for around $29 dollars. It's made of leather so it will not damage your handguns like the kydex style holsters will.

I have to say, this is the one gun holster that I always end up going back to again and again. It will hold any style handgun, large or small that I wish to carry anywhere from a large Springfield Armory full size 45 down to Kahr PM9. And if you really want to carry small and light during the Summertime season, then try this holster with the Ruger LCP.

As an added bonus, if your handgun has a laser installed on it, then it will carry it without any problems or without modifications required.

You can wear it in the appendix or 1 o'clock postion or all the way around to center back or 6 o'clock position. Works for both left handers or right handers alike.

I have a drawer FULL of gun holsters by Crossbreed, Alien Gear, Hidden Hybrid, On Your 6 Designs, Blackhawk and on and on but I can always rely on this simple design, belt slide style holster for all occasions. Get you one and you too will see why it is the way to go when carrying concealed.

Hands down... STICKY HOLSTER. It works with all kinds of pants (gym shorts, PJ pants, Sweats, jeans,). I carry my M&P 40 full size and it holds like a champ. You can carry anywhere along your waist as long as your pants are somewhat tight. It doesn't slip at all either. I have jumped up and down and i don't make any adjustments at all. It is awesome because I walk up and down stairs at the apartment and its like its not even there. The padding is super comfortable too. Ive heard good about Remora but many people I find that find themselves adjusting their remora and there is no good reason for that. Personally I am 5'10" 200 lb chunky kinda dude, I wear gym shorts and a tee shirt or skinny pants and a t shirt. It fits any outfit personally And the trigger is well protected which is a great plus. When you draw from the Sticky Holster, the holster stays in place and the gun slides out. Its almost like magic haha.

That describes me exactly. When did I become chunky? :o

i make my own. rides at 4 o'clock and is very comfortable. bout $4 worth of material in them

I have used a Foxx Hybrid for my XD40SC and now use a Foxx Trapp all kydex heir service is excellent and the Foxx Trapp is very minimal and i can easily take it on and off when i get in and out of the car.

I have hundreds and hundreds of dollars invested in holsters over the years.

I carry my Shield in a cheap, nylon clip-on IWB DeSantis holster that I paid something like $14 for. Most comfortable carry ever, perfectly concealable, and I can reholster 1-handed.

I Tried This And Was Pleasently Surprised

I ordered an AlienGear holster, but I'm tired of waiting and just might cancel my order. I would love to know what under $50 mass produced holster you all are carrying your shield's in? Please post pics, reviews, and links if at all possible TY.
Out of curiosity, mostly I ordered out a Sticky holster for my Shield and Glock 26 Gen4.
They're cheap__which fed my curiosity___and actually work! If you're not wearing a T-shirt (nearly formal wear here in southern Arizona) I place it between my pants and my underwear.
They're not for re-holstering! Take the Sticky out and re-holster.
For an expensive IWB or outside ( I use the Comp-Tac Gladiators
when wearing something more than a "T" ) chedk Comp-Tac.
The Sicky holsters do stick.
