Under $50 IWB Shield Holster?

I have an onyour6 holster for about 2 days before I ordered a Cooks adjustable cant holster. The onyour6 holster, at least mine, rode a bit too high for my liking in the appendix postion and would stick out when sitting up. Also didn't really like the clip because I think its too small. Love the Cooks holster and have zero complaints. Might do a give away for the holster.

Like you, I am about ready to cancel my Alien Gear Holster order also. SEVEN WEEKS is ridiculous!!!!!! Don't know how they expect to stay in business..................

I canceled on the 29th. I just shot them an email, my order was canceled, and money refunded. I'm glad they took so long. During that time I had time to shop for other holsters, an realized I didn't want a holster that takes up that much real estate on my waste.

Jersey James, if you go to there facebook page, you'll see that there are many waiting longer than you... Too many options and competition out there to have to wait 2 months for a simple holster.

I was going to order a holster from Alien Gear but was turned off by the wait time. I bought an OWB Discreet EDC holster from Blue Ridge Holsters and I am very pleased with it. I do not remember the wait time but it was not long. Most companies make to order do not seem to have any inventory. Blue Ridge Holsters have IWB as well and they are reasonably priced. I like to have options with holsters depending on what I wear.

I like my onyour6 holster. It's my second one besides my standard remora and it's been great so far. I wear mine in the 3-4 o clock position.
I'll be looking into some of these mentioned in this thread.

I've tried a handful of holsters for the Shield including the N82 which I found to be very comfortable. I currently carry a DeSantis Intruder which I love.
It usually takes a few weeks of carry to get any IWB holster to mold to your body and to get your carry position dialed in with cant adjustment or positioning.

I'm sure that time frame is due to the amount of orders they're getting so I bet their business is doing pretty good.

I wear my Old Faithful at the 3:00 or 3:15 position and it never causes printing. I'd wear the Alien Gear the same way.

I have tried many holsters for my Shield but finally found what works for me. Check out the "kangaroo" holster. Can hardly tell you have it on and no way anyone will see as well.

Giving this a try

I have two of those one for Glock 19 and the Shield, for the money the Outbags is really a high quality holster. Made me realize there are still companies out there that don't gouge their customers.:)

I received my PJ Holster in the mail yesterday. It fits like a glove; couldn't be happier. I will post a review of it this weekend.

Try mulitholsters quick ship iwb...I ordered on a Thursday and had it the following Monday morning with the mail. I carry 4 o'clock when I ride my motorcycle and appendix when not and its comfortable both ways.

I will second that. I have a Wild Bill Covert Carry that I rarely use, I find it a bit too thick since I usually carry with my normal waist size pants instead of going a size larger. I also have a Remora that I use more often, but I use the PJ Holster almost every day. It is very comfortable, fits the Shield perfectly and is adds virtually nothing to the width of the gun. It was well worth the wait. I got the clip on loop option.

It's worth the wait, ......and while you're waiting stick that shield in your pocket until it gets there!

I just got this one yesterday morning and I've been wearing it ever since. So far so good.
It's an all kydex IWB made by stayholstered1 on ebay. Adjustable retention, 1 1/2" belt clip, moulded perfectly.

Price was $40.

He customized it (no extra charge) for me by raising the holster so it rides higher. Reason being, I like being able to get a full grip on the gun instead of trying to dig it out from behind my waist band/ belt.
