Unfair business practice?

Well then the simple solution is to protest with your wallet. Don't buy a SIG. Maybe then I can get the ones I want

Ya know, I expect this type of competition-bashing on Glock Talk or the SIG forum. Kinda disappointed to see it here. Nobody is twisting anyone's arms to buy a SIG. Just keep buying S&W and be happy. All this bellyaching is demeaning to the S&W forum. Why sink to the levels of the other forums?

I couldn't agree more with Deputy. If you don't care for a particular manufacture or business practices THEN SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSWHARE and quit yipping like a whipped kid.

all the harsh words about the sig company are no surprise to me. you must remember you are dealing with a european company that deals primarily with military and police guns. they give a rat's butt what a retail comsumer thinks. just normal thinking for them.

Hardly true. Glock is a Euro company that deals primarily with police and military and they care about ALL customers. Ditto for Beretta. You can't make a shotgun statement like that and expect people to swallow it.

Sublime sales tactic there...and perhaps maybe somewhat just-a-little subjective, eh?

(Gotta bust you, otherwise there wouldn't be any fun!

I've got a theory that man made products are intrinsically faulty. Why? Because everything that man has something to do with is...cockeyed.

...I modified the above from a Will Rogers quote.

glock is a euro company but they deal primarily with police and some military. when they came to this country they wanted this market, researched what it took to be successful and took that route. beretta today is mostly shotguns, with some rifles and of course handguns. until they got the contract for supplying the m9,their customer service could be problematic. i was in the business back then and the info is first hand not conjecture.

Whatever, it still invalidates your statement.
Noy ALL Euro companies are out to screw customers...whether big or small.
