Here is a letter that I sent to one of my senators
Senator Udall
As you know out west here firearms are a tool and we don't go around shooting folks with them. Unless your a gang member that is and if you think by passing more restrictive gun legislation you are protecting anyone but gangs and criminals then I guess the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are truly dead pieces of paper and it is time to get rid of everyone that is in Washington, DC now and feels they have the right to decide for all Americans what freedoms we are to have.
We have a President and a Speaker of the House who feel they are the Messiahs for the people on what rights we should be allowed and not allowed.
If you support this kind of legislation you are sending many Americans to their deaths and should be tried for murder as you are denying them the tools to protect themselves and their families and allowing criminals to kill, maim and torture your fellow countrymen and women and children under the false idea that less firearms in the hands of private citizens means more safety for all.
The biggest lie coming out of this administration so far is the so called 90% of the firearms confiscated in Mexico are from US sources. It is more like 9-17% and most of them came from robberies and dead Americans trying to protect themselves from a border that is becoming more unsafe by the day and a government that is under the impression that cameras will some how slow down the drug killers from Mexico.
If you really want to slow down the drug traffic close the border, close the tunnels and put some real people on the border with the power to shoot when shot upon.
I don't expect much from the run away government that we now have with the Messiah at the helm that acts more like an individual from the late 1930's every day. He has appointed Czars to by pass Congress and the Constitution, has put a very bad choice up for supreme court justice and now thinks he can run the auto industry better with federal intervention then can be done by private citizens, has insulted every ally the United States had, tries so hard to suck up to our enemies who are laughing at him and his lack of understanding the only thing they want is the USA destroyed and an Arab nation in its place.
If you think we are so stupid we don't know that our country is being destroyed and all that have gone before us thrown out the door you are so wrong.
The head of home land security is nothing more then a very dangerous person in a very sensitive position and calling anyone who believes in the Constitution, Bill of Rights, marriage between a man and woman and calling veterans home grown terrorists shows just how ill informed she really is.
The very sad thing is that most of you senators and representatives that are following the president blindly are condemning America to a third world power status and will send us back to the living standards we saw in the 40's and 50's what a way to be remembered as the Congress that let a President destroy America.
