Update 2020 Colt Pythons Spied

My new Python went back to Colt in early January for the muzzle issue. As of today I have not seen it since. Frequent calls say that it's in process. Is covid slowing repairs, is the repair crew overwhelmed, I don't know. There is no recourse but to wait.

Once bitten

Today the 6" barrel model 2020 Python 357Rem Mag went
North of $2500.00. Also there is 3% credit card, 6.5% tax,
Postage, and FFL on top of that.

Bidder must of wanted it pretty bad. Crazy.

That's a shame. Maybe when I sent mine back they didn't have as much of a workload, or the factory could be understaffed due to the covid. From all the horror stories of recent Colt customer service with multi-month wait times for simple repairs, I was worried I wouldn't get mine back for a long time. Must have gotten lucky.

After reading all the bad reviews, I've pretty much lost interest in the 2020 Python. Too bad because I was wanting a 4" to go with my 1975 6" Python which I do really like.
Felt the same when they came out with the new Cobra. Extremely interested until I got one in my hands. :(
IDK, if Colt ever manages to get the bugs out and make them in blue, then maybe I'll reconsider.

I saw a review...

...where a guy had a new example that was very poor. It had an undecipherable patter of light strikes on almost every cylinder shot. Sometimes three misfires in a row. Of course that needs to be sent back to Colt, but they aren't the guaranteed collector's item that people want.

Others I've seen were find and the owners happy.
