**UPDATE IN POST #1** A dog showed up today...

But what about the Pups? She made no attempt to go feed them/find them? Sad if they are left out there somewhere.

She has made NO attempt to leave or locate them.
I have a horrible feeling that some miserable *#@! dropped her off, and God only knows what became of her litter.

I HOPE that I'm wrong, though.

This guy was dumped off in our backyard in SoCal. We estimated his age at 6 years (I was dating bears by tooth wear at the time). He lived with us for another 16 years. Most personality I've seen in a dog (mostly, bad). Anyone who has read Shakespeare knows who Falstaff is and that fit him to a "T".

I agree that it is likely too late to hold out hope for her litter...I rescued my boy from someone who didn't want the pups & I don't think many of his litter mates were as fortunate as him (he's 12 now & has had a very happy life - my wife tells me too happy!)...

anyway, sounds like she will be a wonderful family addition & loyal pack mate...

every morning my little pal jumps up on the bed, invited, and wiggles and wags just thrilled to start another day. He just makes me begin my day with a laugh and a smile, can't beat that. I've outlived 3 he is my 4th, it gets more and more painful to lose them. That is my only regret about dogs.

I just walked in the door from work a little while ago.
As I was unlocking the front door, she was inside dancing around, wagging and whining, excited to see me (the dog, not my wife :D). You'd think she had been here since she was a puppy.
The dog warden told us that after 5 days we could legally keep her. If nobody responds to the fliers I put up, I think we'll do just that. :)

I believe that sometimes the dog will pick its owner.

Years ago I was outside working on the car. This black Lab came along and just hung around. I gave it some water and he never left.

I ain't scared of her!
I'm too stupid to be scared of her. :D :D

You are obligated to providing her a good home or else.

Don't upset the Dog Owner Gang here at the forum.

I know you are going to keep her, God selected and is testing you at this moment.;)

A bowl of water, a little food, where can you get a great friend for so little.
