After overcoming many hurdles and successfully navigating cancer surgery, Candi is officially approved for the kidney transplant list.

I know many of my drifter friends have been praying and have been a source of immense encouragement through this medical minefield. I know "the drift" is taboo, but that meandering tableau of tomfoolery sure helped take the edge off some pretty stressful days. Thank you all. I appreciate you more than you will ever know.

Now we wait. We have some loving friends that have already volunteered to be tested as potential donors. So many people love Candi, and I am humbled and amazed at their willingness to make this kind of selfless sacrifice. I know the journey isn't over, but it sure is comforting to know we aren't alone on the trail.

I will update this thread with any future major developments. We are "on call" all the time as a kidney could become available at any time. You can always feel free to send a PM for an update or question if you don't hear from me. This forum has been a Godsend...literally. Thanks to all of you. Blessings and peace to all.

I also consider you and your family as friends! We shared some GREAT times over on that "other" thread! My Heart goes out to y'all. Please tell her we're thinking about her and praying for her.

May God Bless Candi and you're entire family!

Please keep us posted!

Just saw this thread, as a cancer survivor myself, I know a few of the trials and tribulations that can arise during the process of getting well. Modern medicine has made great strides, and my family and I extend our thoughts and prayers that you and Candi have a successful and healthy outcome.

Best Regards, Les
