Update on Mrs. Bigride (March 23, See Post #76)

That's great news. Thanks for the update. Best wishes and prayers sent your and Candi's way Paul.

Just saw this thread, as a cancer survivor myself, I know a few of the trials and tribulations that can arise during the process of getting well. Modern medicine has made great strides, and my family and I extend our thoughts and prayers that you and Candi have a successful and healthy outcome.

Best Regards, Les

Update January 24, 2017

Over the last 6 weeks, another medical issue surfaced, and Mrs. Bigride was temporarily deactivated from the transplant list. She is having surgery tomorrow to correct a pre-cancerous condition that was just plain missed by a "specialist" who has sorely tried our patience and managed to waste about 4 months of our time.

Tomorrow's surgery is expected to go well and should allieviate much pain for Candi. After pathology reports and a follow-up, her case will be presented to the transplant board to be reactivated. We look forward to good news.

So tomorrow, we are off to the hospital for another "adventure." Mrs. Bigride has already mandated that I must wear pants.

We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

Paul

We look forward to good news.

Paul
As do we.
Prayers from here for Candi, best wishes for you to retain a semblance of sanity.
As unfortunate as this is, hoping you'll share some musings from the waiting area.
If possible, as a favor to me, please... when you see the Doc with his little scrub hat...
ask him if it comes in a mens...
