UPDATED RESULTS: NRA Election for Board of Directors

I know that one should not speak negatively of the NRA on this forum, but as a life member for over 50 years and a Benefactor member my opinion is that it is now in big trouble due to its corrupt leadership. Its rules and bylaws have been changed to allow the continued leadership by nefarious people. Its board is too large and is unable to stand up to the poor leadership. Hopefully it will be more than a "good old boys club" someday.

Just received mine Wednesday, so many of you should see it soon.
I'll vote, but I'm not happy.

Seems like WLP will ride the NRA right into the ground. If Wayne and the board of directors cared about the organization and the members, he would have stepped aside years ago.

Similar to politicians - term limits are needed.

Amen, Deacon.

According to the bylaws a fully paid lifetime member and annual members with five or more consecutive years of membership who are over 18 shall be entitled to vote.

Engineer 1911: Thanks for posting that, Mailed in my ballot today.

Jeffrefridge: I believe the full quote is "Vote Early, Vote often, and do not neglect the recently departed" from my old Republican township chairman when I was a poll worker.

I don't remember exactly but I think if you're a Life Member or higher you get to vote.

Even if you're yearly you should get your copy of American Rifleman or Hunter though. You should check with the NRA on that.

Unless things have changed, you are eligible to vote if you have been an annual member for five years. I know that I was able to vote before going Life.
