Talked to him on the phone yesterday. Said he was going to undergo tests on his heart looking for the sources of the clot that caused the stroke. Maybe A-fib. Said he's lost the peripheral vision in one eye which may come back. Weird part was he has to learn to read again. Thankfully he and his wife were up at 4:30 to go fishing when it happened and she was able to call the EMTs and get him into the hospital. Had they been sleeping I might be attending his funeral.
