URGENT!!! STRIKER SPRING GUIDE!

will the spring guide for the 40S&W M&P model work on my SD40VE? Its a plastic sleeve that slides into the slide itself and houses the striker spring. Below is the only one I can find but it's for an M&P will this fit mine sd40ve? Only home protection pistol I have at the moment and need to get it back up and running!

I would contact S&W. They may send you one at no charge. As far as are they compatible ? I am not sure, but if you do call S&W they can tell you that also. Good luck.
