There is a bill in the US Congress, HR 45, go to the USA.Gov to find it on the leg. link.
It would force total registration of guns, federal permits to possess one, lot of ways to become felons if you did not do it right. This is a horrible bill the Dems are starting. We may lose CC and the right to even possess one folks. I encourage you to write a personal email to every Dem. Congressman and your Senators ASAP! The Senate has a similar effort. This is not a web tail, it is on the country's website. This is the start to disarm the citizens.

I saw reference posted to this on another site as well.

Looks like the Left-wingers are going to ram every bit of European socialism down our throats as fast as they can (maybe they figure they've only got 2 years before people catch on??).

rufus, even so, please do not ignore the potential threats to our rights. There is the age 60 issue, ammo issue, etc. so please consider writing an email to several congressmen. Contact from home does matter!

I think HR45 was authored by Bobby Rush (D-IL, 1st congressional district). He has quite the resume - former Black Panther and has felony weapon convictions.

When they had the news conference when Blago appointed Roland Burris to Obama's senate seat, Bobby Rush was the at his side. He gave a speech where basically said that Burris was entitled to the seat because he's black, and anyone who opposed him is a racist.
