So for a few weeks, I've been getting these e-mails in my spam folder that claim I have a package from Gmbh(Germany) via DHL and/or the postal service. I've ordered from a custom scale company(knife stocks) in Germany and have on hand everything I ordered. One of the first lines in the official looking e-mail tells me to move the e-mail to my inbox if the linnks are not working properly. My gut (and brain) tell me that this is a phishing scam. Anyone else get anything like this or have any more info than stated here? Thanks and best to all!!

Zapped about a half dozen of them, but haven't had coffee yet, and almost second-guessed myself. It did say go to the official DHL site which almost got me. Sneeky weasels anyway.......

It's phishing. Delete! I get them for UPS, FedEx and USPS. I don't even bother to open them.

CW

IIRC the isp comes out of the Ukraine don't know if it's the correct way but I will take the tracking number and go directly to the carrier site and check it. it always says tracking number not found. I only do this because I get a lot of deliveries and it's nice to know when they will be delivered if I don't expect a delivery trash can..

Never, ever clink links in an email. It is easy to disguise them as legitimate looking addresses but end up downloading viruses.

I've been getting quite a few in regards to a "package that FedEx has for you". I finally called FedEx & they confirmed it was a scam, so I just started deleting them. I haven't seen one in a while.
