Just posting a quick shot of my three USAF model 15-2's in a family portrait. One of these is going away to a new owner in a couple of weeks, so I wanted to get a picture while the gang was still together. All three are correct original USAF marked, all with historical letters. Conditions range from excellent to good finish wise, all 3 are mechanically tight. The middle ones grips were varnished at some point, it was not uncommon for SP units to do this to "dress up" their revolvers. While I do not have written provenance, the bottom one was a bring back from Vietnam according to the former USAF member I bought it from. The finish certainly looks like a SE Asia exposed blued S&W! You do not see many group shots of these USAF revolvers, so I thought you guys would like to see them.

Nice!

Here's mine! Mine is also going to go to a new home, when it finds one...
I have a 99% Badge correct and a Holster rig also sealed inside the military canvas bag still.
Have a pair of the Franzite Grips also that the Elite Guard used on their 15's!
This one is the most complete example known to be in existence- seemingly unfired and about as close to perfect as it gets. Has been an honor to watch over it all this time.

Nice threesome you have there, Sluffstuff!!! If only the bottom gun could speak.
These USAF model 15's are extremely nice additions to any martial collection.

Slufstuff - great trio and agree wish the bottom one could talk.

Luvsmiths - what an awesome time capsule package and a perfect condition gun. It’s like it’s 1963 again. Sure hope it finds a deserving new home !

It is great to see those USAF 15 survivors. Robbins AFB was the repository for them as noted in the factory letter. The vietnam bring back is special. I wish I had absconded my issue M-10. Looking back, it would have been pretty east. "It fell out of the helicopter." then sign a statement of charges.;)
