A friend of mine owns this and asked me to find out what it might be worth. This is in original factory finish and has factory target sights. I never collected these, and know very little of what these revolvers might be worth today. Any help as to what the value would be is greatly appreciated and will be passed on to my friend. Thank You In Advance.

The short answer is, it's worth a small fortune.

It's a .22 Hand Ejector - 3rd Model Ladysmith. It's very rare with target sights and even more rare with the 3" barrel length.

This configuration appears for sale so rarely, it's difficult to place a market value on it. Taking your word for it being original finish and what appears as good condition (hard to tell with such fuzzy photos), a fixed sight model would be in the $2000 ball park.

With a letter of authenticity confirming its originality, I agree it would be worth a lot. First one I have ever seen at all, the 6" Target version is rare by itself (and the fixed sight version in that length even more so).

Hmm. Ejector rod knob is usually blue. Refinish?

The OPs photographs are blurry, but my initial reaction to the OPs photographs is that his gun looks refinished. I hope I am proven wrong. More photographs are needed that provide enhanced detail.

The seam looks pretty good , the hammer and trigger are unmolested , ...the ejector rod question looms large. A detailed closeup of the port side logo would help.
