Hello , Had this CS45 since about 2002 and thinking its time to move on , just doesnt fit into my EDC . Had very little carry/range use <150 rounds , 2 mags box + holsters ...What say you ??
Location of the sale makes a significant difference on value. In my area DA/SA pistols aren't hot sellers and the Chief's Special 45 ACP would sell for $450 maybe $500. Priced any higher it probably wouldn't sell.
Today it seems people want higher capacity small pistols typically in 9 mm because the ammunition is cheaper. Listing the pistol in the classified on this forum might bring a little higher price. Listing on an auction site might raise the sale price but once you figure out the cost of the fees you might not clear much more money.
Hopefully others will chime in as location matters.
My problem with the CS-45 (acquired in 2000 IIRC) is that I like small pistols and I used to carry it. I think I'll shoot mine this week and see how I feel about it. I do agree that higher capacity is more popular and this little pistol has more recoil than I might like these days. We'll see.
But I agree, it's probably not going to sell for more than $500 and, even then, it will take someone with a very specialized interest.
