Value Help on S&W 908

I am in need of help in determining the value of a model 908. I have an neighbor that I am helping sell off some of his gun stock. Since I am more of a "wheel gun guy" and not an "auto guy", I could use some help on this one. I have checked the auction sites but there really is not many of them to compare. Is the 908 a rare model or is there just not a bunch of them on the market??? Thanks for any help on this. I plan to list it on local (Portland) sites to try and eliminate the shipping hassle but if someone on here convinces me, I could ship it once I figure out what it is worth.

I just bought one last week from auction here in fla. it ran me $367.00 in awesome shape,2 mags ,shipping and in original box. Hope this helps.

I also recently bought one. I bought it at a local gun shop. Used in very nice condition, just a little edge wear probably from a holster. Paid $349.95 + tax and nics. Probably not a smoking deal but I don't feel ripped off either.

The 908 seems like a nice pistol. Mine shoots great.

$350 is a good starting pricing depending on the condition. If there are additional magazines, maybe $375.

Model 908

I just bought one brand new on GunBroker.
I paid $341.00 and thought it was a great deal.
Shipping was additional, I get free transfers at my range.
I have shot it and I really like it. I will probably sell it when I find a great deal on a 3913 as that is what I set out to buy.
For me sometimes trading around can be half the fun.It can be a great way to try them out too.

Just saw one at a gun show today. Lots of holster wear. Been carried a lot. Guy had $400 on it.
