I found a 1977 vintage Model 66-1, 2.5 inch, red ramp front sight. The gun is unfired (except for factory testing). It has the original grips, original box and also has a set of factory finger grove target stocks (from the early 1980's). The gun is in like new condition as are the grips. Can anyone give me an approximate value.

Thanks

Sounds like you found a nice one! The prices for the snub 66's & 19's are through the roof, I agree in the $700 range in the condition you describe, heck I can remember buying those for $300 all day long! Good thing I kept a few.

$500-$700 getting harder to find and the price is worth it if its in that great of shape with the goodies.

I'd pay $550-$600 for the package.

I recently had to pass on a 66 (no dash) that was like new, in original box with all the goodies, for $475. The only reason I didn't jump on it was that I had already bid on a model 19 on GB and didn't have funds for both. I don't think I will see a deal like that again.

I feel bad when I see these 66 no-dash bargains being discussed. A couple of months ago I paid $650 for an as-new 66 and didn't feel cheated at the time.

I paid $600 for a Model 66-2, 2.5 inch about three months ago. No box or papers. I love this gun and would do it again in a heartbeat.
