Hey Warren,
How much you want for that S&W, how you been , everything OK?
Joe
Hi Joe,
I’m OK I guess, the gagging and choking hits me every couple days. Going to the hospital for test Thursday & Friday. I can’t seem to shake the Pneumonia and it has my wife and I scared because that is how it started for a fellow Submariner who recently died of Mesothelioma, the asbestos disease, He died about 6 months after diagnosis. I’m sure that is not me but I will feel a lot better after a pulmonary specialist tells me too.
My wife said I should not get rid of the 686 SSR. The reason I asked about it was a friend and I were at the S&W shooting center drooling on some new guns and he said he would really like the one in the display case by the door. They have no prices on them because it is like a mini museum for display only.
I had 3 4” 357 Magnums until he recently bought the 586-1.
I use the 686-6 with fiber optics to shoot SSR division so I can’t get rid of it but the 686 SSR is a backup gun for it, if that makes any sense.
She is right and I will keep it for a backup but times are tough until my busy season starts in May & June, then I hope to be back in the black again.
I would really like to go to Florida to shoot the World Championships in September. I have 8 points so I think I have a shot at it, if I go though I will shoot ESR-EX or SSR-EX and leave the bottom feeder at home. 5th place is not bad but the feel is not the same.
I have been trying to get rid of this 41 mag for a while with no luck.

It’s a shame, nice gun for someone who likes long barreled cannons. I get the hots for short barrel N frames. I bought the 41 to help out a friend.
Are you going to try to get to the World Championships?
Good luck
