I'm looking to sell a Highway Patrolman that has been nickel plated. It has what I believe are the original diamond grips which have a few nicks in them. The finish on the gun is in great condition. I can't find any info on what the value would be. Any ideas are much appreciated.

6" or 4"? I will assume an electroless with a matte or satin finish. I would expect $450 +/-depending on one's perceived value of the grips, and I assume the checkering on the grips to be somewhat worn too. Sorry, the refinish kills the value in my mind.

You got a great carry/shooter gun. Im sure the finish is nice and the grips are OK. Retail to end user $450. To a dealer, you are going to get killed.
Worth getting re-done? NO! Best

It's a 4". And actually the checkering on the target grips is in quite good condition. I'll try to post pics when I get home

The gun does not have collector value with that finish. That does not mean that it would not be a great shooter! Would try for $500. Somebody should want it. Good luck! We still need to see pictures! Bob

I would say $500 to $600, maybe even more, depending.

The Diamond Target Stocks by themselves may fetch upwards of $200. More if they are non-relieved. Much, much more if they are Cokes. Pictures will really help.

People like 4" barrels.

Ok, it has been refinished. But to the right buyer, that could be a plus, depending on how nice it is. Not everyone is a collector.
