Have a Timney 3 lb. and love it. To bad they don't make that one in a lighter, or adjustable pull. I would guess that they would try to get $250.00 + for that one. I would be nice if they put pricing on their website.

Doesn't really matter what they cost new. As soon as the shooter begins to understand how much $$$ her or she is burning through it will be for sale used pretty quick. It doesn't take all that long to get the full auto bug out of your system.

Interesting... apparently it is bump fire refined. Looks like it is going to be $500. Apparently there's already some rifles available with it at $1000 premium. I certainly like it but think I will sit back and wait for two things.
1) price drop
2) to see if or how long it takes to get outlawed
If truly legal and no BS performance I would guess as much as 2 year wait to get one with high popularity and only one machine shop making them. 650 RPM is sweet but not full auto. On semi it has a 4.5# trigger pull which is a bit stiff for my tastes. I would also suspect it will promptly be banned by all carbine and 3 gun sports.

These are the things that make certain politicians foam at the mouth and make me fear for my right to own an AR. One whack job with this and we're in a world of hurt. Personally, these types of items can't be banned fast enough for my taste. Not to take away something that most of us would use safely mind you, but for the perseverance modern sporting rifles.

IIRC It will be just like when the M16A2 with the 3 round burst came out. It did not take them long to change the wording making it an NFA weapon.
Agreed - given the general state of weenieness over at BATFE, I'm amazed they haven't banned slide-fire/bump-fire stocks yet...
My understanding is it is a three stage trigger with a very light reset on the second stage. Price is going to be about $500.00 out the front side. You will blow through $500.00 in ammo in a single outing with this. But non the less this is cutting edge for the "I must have the latest greatest thing out their". At the price I will pass, I would be much happier with a three round bust than this. But then again it is hard to hold on target with multiple rounds firing.

Full auto is fun, more so if it is someone else ammo. I would need to know more and try it before I would buy. If it gave accurate auto fire then it would be fun to have. As for the left trying to ban it-- In Ct the AR was in backseat of car- NEVER used, but everyone hated bushmaster. I agree that any time someone misuses an AR or similar MSR there is a great deal of negative attention. But if you believe that anti-gunners want anything short of complete confiscation-- You are wrong. This is not a beast that you can through a few scraps to placate them. They are much like a child in their "wants" and "thoughts", facts are of no concern to them. They do NOT care about the truth, they believe their child like fantasies ( an AR with a folder will shoot faster than one without it??? ), this is why you can not have a logical conversation, you hear statements like " responsible gun control" which only means we will take a little now and get the rest later, look at Ca, Nj, NYC as examples. Murder is illegal, they could aim their anger at the perp, instead they blame an object, or the cosmetics of the object. Back to child like thought, it is not rational, but the blindly accept it. full auto has its place and its not on the street which is where this stuff ends up. I shoot at a range where full auto is allowed- wanna clear out all the customers fast? just watch. This gives control advocates more to salivate over. And ammo is hard and expensive to get for the rest of us who arent rich or have to work for a living. Need something to play with? go to toys r us

Very interesting trigger, but I share some of the concerns some of the other posters have. As far as the ATF, I would think that they have already have looked this over. Tactical Fire Control must have at least 1 patent on this and I'm not 100% sure, but I would think they would have to get it approved by the ATF before they could get patents

Illegally/unregistered select fire- North Hollywood. I think it is an interesting idea with merit. I have tried tri-burst, hell-fire, ASIV,, Tac-trigger, "Crank-fire" all could provide some bump firing type action, all were inaccurate, ( good for making noise ) But they were fun sometimes, but lack of accuracy make them next to useless. When I got my M-16, I checked it, cleaned it, test fired semi 20 rds, another 20 on full in short 3 -4 rd bursts, had my wife try it the next day , same way, cleaned it and put it in the safe- 80 rds through it. Why would you believe that you or I can fire full auto on the range safely but other people should not be given that chance? Gun control "advocates" want all your guns, not just the black ones, they want the pink, white, tan, in every caliber, in every action, if you believe otherwise you have drank too much kool-aide! I have read a lot about full auto (machine) guns, and if anything is done to modify the gun to fire more than one round, on a single pull of the trigger, that would put it under NFA. This trigger looks like it has something that would make it illegal, as the fire control lever has 3 positions, safe, single, and 3rd mode. Since the trigger has "no take-up" and "no over-travel", they are going to try to convince the BATF that it does not come under NFA, as it is a normal AR type trigger. The issue is the extra lever control from single fire to 3rd mode.
This trigger system is not full auto, as there is no auto sear, which drops the hammer as the bolt locks. Their advertising states that the "third mode" has "positive reset characteristic", but if anything, other than an actual trigger pull causes the hammer to drop, it would be illegal. I would think it was designed so light that the forward impact of the bolt closing would cause the lightly held reset bar to release, causing the hammer to drop, while the trigger is still held rearward. Or it could be that this trigger is so light that under the 3rd mode, that the hammer may not always lock back, but could follow the carrier forward, as it closes.The hammer falling with the carrier closing may or may not cause a full auto scenario. If the ammo has light ignition primers, the pressure of the hammer following the carrier may have enough energy to hit the firing pin hard enough to ignite the primer. But the more likely scenario is it would not fire and you end up with a failure to fire. However the danger is it does work, and the cartridge fires before the bolt is locked or even fully seated, which is a serious issue. I doubt this trigger will be approved by BATF, unless large amounts of money changes hands. I can see how the Slide-Fire stocks were approved, as nothing about them has anything to do with the internal fire control parts.
I suggest to buy a slide-fire stock. They are legal, do not cause out of battery firings, and are relatively inexpensive, compared to the legal full auto gun prices. They are easy to move from gun to gun. I have one on my AR10, and it works great. If I keep pushing forward, it burns through a 20 round mag in two seconds. At the cost for 7.62/.308 ammo, I don't use it very often. I also had to put a compensator on it, to keep the barrel down and on target. The 7.62 cartridge produces twice the foot pounds of energy, than the 5.56 cartridge does, along with substantial more felt recoil.

Watched the vid. and it does look like fun but as mentioned in some of the above posts not only is the initial cost expensive but the price of ammo! I'm happy with the FCG that I have now. Even that is pricey if I tend to get carried away!
Viper you can fire anything you want, just not next to me at the range indoor or out. There are plenty of places to shoot and folks will go elsewhere to avoid you. This sport is like most others- full of expensive, tacticool toys to add. But hey- spend your$ knock yourself out.

The website states that it is "non-NFA". I think by reading the site that they are able to do this by, " no take-up and zero-travel. They make it a hair trigger, a slight touch and it's going boom. So it's an adjustable trigger set to it's lowest limit. It would be fun if you have ammo to throw away, And maybe They thought of this by having a 3 position selector. Just a guess, the selector varies the tension on the hammer sear.
Can't afford the ammo.
I'd rather get a Geissele trigger and upgrade my gun rather than spending a ridiculous amount of ammo.
It also is OVER-PRICED.... you can get a Geissele Trigger and Bump Fire Stock for about the same price.
And the Geissele would be a much better trigger.
I believe James Holmes the Aurora Theater Shooter had a bump fire stock with a Beta Mag. Also had a M&P15.
Politicians went after the mags here in Colorado - not the bump fire.

I threw a Spikes Tactical nickle boron battle trigger into my M&P 15. I love the thing. It's way better than the factory trigger (not like that is saying much.) I refer the factory trigger feel to as dragging a wood stick on gravel. This trigger was not only a great value, it is a great trigger. It's VERY smooth. I was a little skeptical at first due to the price, but I was proven wrong at the first push of the trigger. It was a great value and I highly recommend you look into it.
