Very early Mod-37

Undoubtedly, if it wasn't for Bob our very own "two-bit cowboy" I would not be the owner of a new to me Model 37.
Bob, who is our resident Wrangler of stray Chiefs, recently clued me in to a 37 that was available on GB. There was some confusion and discrepancies in the gun's description and for whatever reason the seller, who has an A+ rating on GB could not/would not/did not answer a few basic questions about the gun.
Anyhow, I decided to take a chance and I hit the Buy Now and closed the deal.
The gun arrived today and I really couldn't be more pleased. It's 65 years old and it's in pristine condition.
A big shout out to the two-bit cowboy for helping me wrangle this stray!

Those of you who are S&WCA members will see a tiny tidbit about
this one in your summer 2023 issue of the Journal.

It must have ridden the "short bus" because as we know it today,
it's a might "special" in the Chiefs' world.

I'm thrilled it went to someone in "the family."
